      Firecrest holds its flowers high above the water, a trait more common to tropical waterlilies, and the outer petals and sepals hang down to provide a nice effect. For the most flowers, you want to plant it in a large container (24" x 24" x 12")and allow a colony to develop. If there is enough space, this waterlily will spread as much as 12 inches in a year. It is recomended for a medium to large watergarden or a natural pond.
