This is a charming little plant that always looks good at the pond edge. It is one of those plants that is good for the transitional area between the water and the ground because it will grow in both. Makes a pleasant appearance with its numerous round leaves and bright yellow flowers in the summer. It is a member of a large group of plants, the Primulaceae, which include many showy and well loved plants, some of which are tolerant of damp conditions.
