      Typha minima is by far the smallest of the Typhas. Its diminutive size makes it an excellent plant for the foreground of a planting. It is also an ecellent choice for small table top containers. We have used it to good effect in streams and shallow beach areas at the edges of ponds. Tiny "cattails" are as cute as buttons and are useful in dried flower arrangements. Propagation is by rootstack division or seed. Native to Europe, the Caucasus, and Asia. Zones 3-11.
