      Menyanthes is a wonderful additon to any pond edge. It grows by means of a perrenial creeping stem which branches as it grows. Leaves stand above the water on red stems. Flowers borne in clusters of 10-20 on separate stems 8"-12" long. Propagation is by seed and stem division. We grow it in San Diego and have seen it in high the Sierra Nevada mountains. Native to the Northern Hemisphere, especially Europe. Zones 3-9.
