      L. peploides is one of a large group of highly decorative and useful plants. As a group the Ludwigias exhibit a huge rang eof form and size. From the diminutive L. arcuata to the huge and shrubby L. peruensis, there is something for everybody in this genus. L. peploides is among the so-called "creeping" species of Luwigia. Also included in this group are L. repens, L. arcuata, L. sedioides, and L. palustris, among others. L. peploides is the largest of this group and is only really useful in large ponds. Its bright yellow flowers brighten any setting. Its copious roots make this a fantastic filtering system. They also make the plant useful for stabilizing embankments. Zones 10-11.
