Typha laxmannii is good fo rthose who like Cattails, but are afraid of , or have no room for the standard Cattail. This species stays shorter than its larer cousin, growing to only about 4' tall. It is equally capable of filling its pot as the larger Cattail does, but it is still better behaved than the larger one is. Propagation is by seed or, more commonly, by division of the root system. Zones 3-11.
