Cattails are among the most familiar of the plants that grow in wet conditions. Virtually everybody with functional eyes has seen them in a roadside ditch or stream floodplain. When used creatively they can provide just the right effect with their tall, stately vertical lines and graceful drooping leaf ends. They do require a bit of maintenance, though. This includes removal of dead and dying leaves, removal or runners to within allowed borders, and annual removal of allof the leaves in thier dormancy. The variety of Cattail varieties available allows us to choose our Cattail to fit our ponds. This one is best suited to larger ponds.
