This one of the showiest of the aquatic Ranunculus, producing brilliant yellow flowers through most of the spring and summer. Planted in a stream or along the edge of a pond, this plant quickly colonizes the area around itself, spreading by stolons and being equally happy either in or out of the water. With its glossy green leaves, it is among the most niticable of all of the plants along the pond edge. Should be thinned from time to time. Zones 3-9.
