      This is by far one of the most beautiful of all of the plants in the bog. We like to mix it in with its red-violet (IBP ---) and white (IBP048) counterparts. The effect is stunning. Will grow in water that is up to 1.5' deep. Tolerates some shade but does best in full sun. We like to give it rich soil so that it will do its best through the summer. Blooms spring through summer. Produces viable seed, although most propagation is done by rootstock division.
