Cyperus haspans is a charming little thing that fits in well in any bog setting. It is not invasive, it is not particular about what it has to grow in or on, and it is viviparous, meaning that it produces offspring from the center of the leaf cluster. Very easy to care for. Will live in or out of water, although it prefers to be in water. It will tolerate shade or sun, merely adjusting its leaf size to fit the situation. Zones 9-10.
