2009 Season: Lotus are now unavailable to be purchased, as most will be too large to ship without breakage during transit.
Lotus will ship starting March 15th or later, DEPENDING ON NATIONAL WEATHER.

We will NOT ship any Lotus AFTER JUNE 15 - the weather is too hot for them to ship and transplant sucessfully.

We ship the tubers when they have strong root and leaf development. This assures that the Lotus tuber is alive and growing when we ship it to you. In the warmer areas of the USA, shipping can start as early as mid-March, depending on the weather in your area.
Check to see when your last hard frost is likely to occur. Consult the Farmers Almanac online http://www.farmersalmanac.com/weather/weather.html
