Large, free flowering, pink-peach tipped in pale yellow, Nymphea odorata type, will maintain foliage in mild winters, fragrant, the leaves are lightly variegated, otherwise medium green, up to 10 inches wide. Its new leaves are burgundy. The plants grow 3 to 5 feet across. The flowers get up to 6 inches across. USDA ZONES 3-11.

This changeable waterlily is yellow with a rose-apricot blush when first opening and gradually changing to a coppery red as the blossoms mature. Outer petals tend to retain a somewhat yellow color, stamens are orange. USDA ZONES 4-10.

A very free blooming waterlily with clear pink flowers. Flower shape is starlike. Lightly mottled foliage. Extremely fragrant.Similar to Rose Arey. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Also known as Hollandia, this waterlily has huge, double, light pink flowers that are darker in the center and become a deeper pink with age. It is an early bloomer, and slightly fragrant. This waterlily is recomended for the medium to large watergarden. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Also known as Aflame. The most brilliant of hardy reds. A uniform shade of vermillion-crimson with garnet stamens tipped yellow. Blossoms have a rich spicy odor,and are about 7 inches across. This is one of the best red hardies. Its flowers are long lasting and strikingly colored. This waterlily is not a rampant grower, so it is not likely to overwhelm even small ponds. USDA ZONES 4-9.

The ball or cup shaped blossoms of this lily are pure white and up to 6 inches in diameter. It has a comparatively small spread of light green leaves, making it a good choice for smaller watergardens. This waterlily is recommended for small to large watergardens. USDA ZONES 4-9.

The beautiful 7 inch flowers are white with a yellow center and rest on the water's surface. The leaves are dark green and finely variegated. It is a vigorous grower and a prolific bloomer. USDA ZONES 4-9. Also called "Virginia."

Also known as Pink Gonnere. The flowers are large and double. The outer petals are spotted with rose, and inner petals are of a deeper pink. This waterlily is recomended for small to large watergardens. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Medium/large hardy water lily from Asia. Creamy peach flowers measuring about 4 to 6 inches across. Leaves are about 6 to 8 inches across with purple/bronze marbling. Spread of 6 to 8 feet, prefers full sun. One of the few hardy viviparous water lilies. New plants form in flower heads. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Large double bright fuschia blooms, 6 to 8 inches in diameter. Green to bronze leaves spread about 6 to 7 feet. Prefers 6 to 8 hours sun per day. USDA Zones 4-11.

The blossoms have orange inner petals, the color deepening with age, the outer petals are apricot changing to a deep pinkish orange by the third day. This is an ideal choice for a small watergarden or tub garden. Can be used in larger ponds effectively as a mass planting. USDA ZONES 4-9.

This waterlily has medium pink flowers and a nice fragrance. It is a good choice for a medium to large watergarden or a natural pond. It is fairly free flowering and blooms most freely when planted in a large container. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Flowers float on the water and have the pleasant odor of apple blossoms. With it's moderate growth rate and comparatively small leaf area, this lily is well suited to tubs and small ponds. It is also able to grow in areas of partial shade. Blossoms are brilliant red, 6 - 7 inches in diameter, with 5 sepals, which are green with red flecks on the outside. Stamens are red-orange, leaves are round and green, new leaves are purple. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Red flowers with distinctive crinkled petals. Clear green leaves. Prefers full sun. Flower size is 4-6" with leaf spread 4-6' USDA ZONES 3-11.

Blossoms are uniformly bright pink. Well established plants frequently produce flowers 8 inches in diameter. Leaves are medium to dark green and exhibit the leaf shape characteristics of its ancestor, Nymphaea odorata. That is, they are not as long as they are wide. Another N. odorata characteristic of Rose Arey is the sweet fragrance. Very well suited to large ponds, in deep or shallow water. USDA ZONES 4-9.

One of the famous "Changeables", with blossoms opening chrome yellow and changing gradually to shades of red-orange. The blossoms are held above the water and present a lovely display in the peak of the season. The foliage is a rich green mottled with fine, deep brown and purple markings at the edges when the leaves are young, fading slowly as the leaf ages. It is well suited for medium to large ponds. USDA ZONES 4-9.

The blossom is creamy yellow when it first opens, then becomes orange, and finally red when about to fade. It is star shaped and about 4 inches in diameter. Foliage is green, heavily mottled with maroon. It is well suited for border plantings in shallow water and in tub gardens. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Similar to Sunrise, large creamy yellow flowers with faint rose streaks towards the bottom of the petals. Leaves are variegated with fine markings on the back half, and larger markings on the front half. It spreads 3 to 5 feet. USDA ZONES 4-10

Vesuve produces with very dark red blossoms 6 to 7 inches across very similar in color to Escarboucle. Flowers are 6" indiameter and stay oppen longer than most lilies, opening in the early morning and closing late in the afternoon. The young leaves are dark red mottled with brown, becoming green as they mature. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Certainly among the best, if not the very best of the white hardy lilies. It is always a reliable bloomer, one of the first lilies to start growing in the season, and its flowers are simply exquitsite. They are pure white, with a yellow center, about 5" in diameter, and slightly fragrant. The petals are broad and shell shaped. Foliage is green and unvariegated, new leaves are purple. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Also called Marliac Flesh. Developed in 1887, one of the original strains of waterlilies, this is an easy grower. It does well in both shallow and deeper ponds, and is a fantastic bloomer. Light vanilla scented, pure light pink star-shaped flower. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Also called Sunrise, the deep canary yellow flowers of this lily are 8-9 inches in diameter, with deep green leaves a foot wide. The flowers are fragrant, and carried well above the water's surface with long, narrow, curved petals. This lily will do best in medium to large ponds. It is a very prolific bloomer and very winter hardy. USDA ZONES 4-9.

Deep red cup-shaped flowers, blushed and streaked with cream and yellow, reach 8 inches across. Strong stems hold blooms 3 to 4 inches above the water. Glossy green leaves with maroon markings. Plant spread of 4 feet. Suitable for small and medium sized ponds in full sun or partial shade. Thrives in hot climates. Long blooming showy flowers. USDA ZONES 6-11.

One of the darkest red waterlilies on the market, with hints of black. Leaves start maroon and mature to bright green. Flowers are 5-6 inches across. Leaves are 8-9 inches across, with a plant spread of 3-6 feet. Prefers full sun. USDA ZONES 4-11.

Inner petals are rich strawberry pink; outer petals are pale pink that fades with age; 6 to 7 inch star shaped flowers; slight fragrance. 8 to 9 inch green leaves; spread of 3 to 4 feet; new leaves are purplish. Very free flowering. USDA ZONES 3-11.

Native American water lily also known as the Fragrant Water Lily, Alligator Bonnet or Beaver Root. Fragrant white flowers 2-6 inches across. Bright green leaves up to 10 inches across, with purplish underside. Plant spread of 4-6 feet. USDA ZONES 3-11.

This is one of the all time favorites for vigor, beauty, and size. Leaves easily reach 18 inches in diameter and are beautifully mottled with irregular purple variegations. Flowers are a combination of pink, yellow, and orange. Some say that it is like a Tequila Sunrise. They are generally over 6 inches in diameter during the peak season. As the weather turns cold, the normally dark green leaves with numerous irregular variegations, turn brilliant red and orange. Here in southern California, we frequently have flowers through the winter. By all means this is a must-have for any devoted water gardener. USDA ZONES 8-11

Large white blossoms, wide petals, and is a strong grower and a prolific bloomer. An excellent waterlily for medium to large watergardens. USDA ZONES 8-11

Petals are chartreuse half-way up and then shade to a light blue. Leaves are green, bronze speckledand have a wavy margin. USDA ZONES 8-11

The blossoms are deep blue, 10 to 12 inches across, have a spicy fragrance, and stand 6 to 8 inches above the surface of the water. The stamens are yellow with violet anthers, the sepals are marked with black dots and lines. The leaves, often more than 2 feet in diameter, are dark green and slightly speckled with brown above. Beneath, the leaves' color is red-purple along the edges shading to pale green in the center. The margins are wavy, with the lobes long and tapering. This waterlily is a good chioce for a large pond in a temperate climate. When stunted, this waterlily can do well in tub gardens or small ponds. USDA ZONES 8-11

Blossoms are light blue, six to eight inches in diameter, with yellow centers and a slight but delicious fragrance. The plant is a prolific bloomer. Leaves are more or less ovate, green on top and bottom, with fine purple variegations on the undersides. USDA ZONES 8-11

This is a beautiful pink night bloomer, the flowers often stay open until noon. The color of the blooms is a dark vermillion red, they are held high above the water's surface. The leaves are a medium to olive green with serrated and wavy edges. it does well in medium to large ponds in shallow water. USDA ZONES 8-11

This waterlily is richly scented, with deep pink flowers that can reach up to 8 to 10 inches in diameter. The blossoms are frequently held well above the water. The leaves are olive green with fine, purple variegations. It adapts well to small ponds. USDA ZONES 8-11

Fragrant, pure white flower that stands high above the water on a robust stalk. Oval leaves with splashes of burgundy. Viviparous. 5 to 8 foot leaf spread. ZONES 8-11

One of our recent acquisitions, this charming lily is both beautiful and very tough. It produces red-violet flowers and finely variegated leaves. It will grow to large size, but it is easily stunted with good results. It is one of the most vigorously viviparous lilies around, and it wil grow well into fall in mild climes. USDA ZONES 8-11

This is one of the best of the ‘red’ tropicals. In the spring and summer it almost always has numerous, large, hot pink, cupshaped flowers on display. The leaves are green becoming red on the edges with age. A good choice for a medium to large watergarden. USDA ZONES 8-11

Green and purple mottled leaves with a clear blue flower reaching to tips of purple. Free flowering with 4-5" flowers and 4-5' leaf spread. Slight fragrance makes this a sweet surprise. Excellent for use in any size water garden. USDA ZONES 8-11

One of the most beautiful of lilies. Leaves are mostly green with slight variegations, but the flowers are the richest red violet, with nearly black sepals, giving this plant a high place on my list for shear lushness and natural beauty. USDA ZONES 8-11

A viviparous waterlily that has large, light pink flowers with yellow centers. The leaves are dark green with red blotches. It is one of the most prolific of the viviparous waterlilies. USDA ZONES 8-11

Flowers are sky blue, 6 to 9 inches in diameter, saucer shaped, with broad petals and long peduncles holding them high above the water's surface. Leaves are green and marbled with brown. USDA ZONES 8-11

Queen of Siam is one of the nicest waterlilies in our collection, and with its large, boldly variegated leaves, and its deep pink flowers, it draws attention to itself from afar. The fact that it is viviparous means that it can naturalize easily in well established ponds. USDA ZONES 8-11

Beautiful golden yellow flowers, darker yellow towards the base of the petals. This is a very free flowering waterlily and has a slightly sweet fragrance. This is a good choice for small to large watergardens. USDA ZONES 8-11

Another fine viviparous lily, this one has dark green leaves and blue-violet flowers. It is one of the bloomingest fools in the pond, and will produce numerous flowers, almost non-stop, all season. USDA ZONES 8-11

A beautiful light pink night bloomer. The blossoms generally stay open into late morning. Leaves are a medium green and large. USDA ZONES 8-11

This is a beautiful, free blooming, purple and white lily that will grace any pond. The petals are a rich violet on the ends and change to white at their bases. It's viviparous, new plants develop in the center of the leaves. A well fed plant will produces numerous offspring in a season. An altogether outstanding plant which can be grown in virtually any pond. USDA ZONES 8-11

Nymphaea ampla caerulea. The fragrant, pale blue flowers can be up to 6 to 8 inches in diameter, and stand high above the water. This is one of the most generously blooming waterlilies, and frequently has as many as a half a dozen flowers open on a single day. The leaves are large, glossy green, and do not have variegations. Also called "Wood's Blue Goddess." USDA ZONES 8-11

Large, pure white flowers, held about a foot over the water's surface. Petals are long and pointed. Leaves are a bright medium green and can get large. Good for medium to large ponds. USDA ZONES 8-11

A miniature, the flowers are 4 inches across and lilac colored. The Blossom has rather broad petals, purple stamens, and is very, very, fragrant. The leaves are numerous, cicular in shape, 4 inches in diameter, dark green above and purplish underneath. This lily is well adapted to small ponds and tub gardens, It will do well in a larger pond around the edge in about 6 inches of water. USDA ZONES 8-11

This rare offering is one of the smallest of the water lilies. It comes from Madagascar, and is the most recently named species of Nymphaea. It produces small leaves, each with a red spot in the middle, and small pink/white flowers. It will grow and bloom in an aquarium or a pond, is shade tolerant, but will live in partial sun, and it reseeds freely. Can be grown in small barrel ponds on warm patios, or in well lit terrariums. USDA ZONES 8-11
